Dr.
Mark Zimmerman received his Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University in 1987. He has
an advanced degree in Environmental Physiology from the University of
Michigan, and a degree in Russian. He
worked in general and emergency hospitals for eight years before taking
over the Crosstown Animal Hospital in 1995. His interests include small-animal medicine,
dentistry, and surgery, as well as client
education.
Annette
Zimmerman has managed the Crosstown Animal Hospital since 1995. She has a
Master of Arts in English from CSUN. Her
special interests include animal nutrition and
socialization. Annette is a prolific grant writer and has obtained
large Maddie's
Fund and Glide Foundation grants for Animal Friends Connection. |

Veterinary Assistant
Michelle (left, also with Polly) graduated from Manteca's East Union High School in
1998. She plans to pursue a career in animal health.

Sydney (left)
has assumed the role of kennel supervisor since taking up residence in
the clinic in 1995. While outraged and alarmed by the presence of
other cats, she leads an orderly, pleasant life amongst visiting dogs.
Christian Scott is a student at UC
Davis and helps care for the animals on week-ends and holidays.

Stephane (with Rhamses) is a senior at Saint Mary's and
helps us care for hospitalized and boarding animals.
She plans to continue her education in premedical studies.
